Ashleigh has arrived!

Ashleigh Nicole was born

April 9th at 3:17pm.

She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 in long.

Miclaya is a very proud big sister. Below are a few pictures take at the hospital.

Ashleigh has a head full of hair.

On Friday her eyes were still really puffy from that stuff they put in them when they are born.

What's new here!

The past few weeks have been crazy! I have done a lot of traveling. Any way, last weekend I went to Kentucky for my sister's baby shower. She is due April 13. It's a girl and her name is Ashleigh Nicole.

We all had a lot of fun that weekend. So after I got back home I continued my search for a job. (So much fun!) Well, in doing so I decided to go back to school to get my CNA. I went to an "Information Session" yesterday. It was just a meeting to go over a few things about the program that you have to attend before you can register for the class. Anyway, I am now registered to start the Nursing Assistant I class the end of this month. Yeah!!! The class finishes up in June and then I just have to take the state exam. So that's all that's new here.

Fun at the park!

Back in December I had the opportunity to babysit for my cousin's little boy, Caleb. We went to the park and had a blast. Here are a few picture that I took on my phone from that day. Caleb kept smiling and giggling the whole time we were at the park.

Notice in the picture above that his hair is standing up. It was a cool, dry day, so every time he went down the slid his hair would stand up.

We had a lot of fun that day. After going to the park we went back to the house and painted reindeer foot prints and a hand print Christmas tree. After that he was very tired so we started reading a book but he only made it through about half of the book before he was fast asleep. Anyway, I just ran across these pictures on my phone and I thought I would share them.
